Hi! I'm Shannon!
Your happiness means a lot to me! Not just because you deserve it (which you totally do!), but because I know you take care of a lot of other people. When you are happy, your light and your gifts shine on those you love. And then you, quite literally, make the world a better place!
I am a Certified Professional Life Coach & Science of Happiness junkie. I LOVE empowering women to take better care of themselves by internally changing the way they talk to themselves and externally transforming their self-care.
When your self-care foundation is solid and strong (not perfect) EVERYTHING is possible from there!
I have a super blended 21st Century family, am a wife and mom: bio mom, stepmom, adopted mom, doggie mom. I love coffee, dancing, nature's beauty and learning about cultures and perspectives different from mine.
Oh... I also happen to live with a chronic condition called Primary Immunodeficiency Disease. I know firsthand how hard it can be to genuinely find joy when you live with a chronic condition.
That is why I started Finally Effing Happy and why I am passionate about teaching women how to be kind to themselves, both inside and out.
The support I found was either depressing or dismissive of what it's like to live with a chronic illness. I often felt hopeless, broken and alone.
I bring you the best from the Science of Happiness, EFT (also known as Tapping), professional coaching and my personal experience, energy & enthusiasm.
I believe YOU KNOW YOU best. You know what does and doesn't work for you, your condition, your lifestyle, your family.
It's about turning that KNOWLEDGE INTO ACTION!
I believe happiness is not about being happy-birthday-polly-anna happy all the time. Happiness is a place where all emotions are welcome and confidence comes from a deep knowing that no matter what life throws at you, you've got all the tools you need to handle it. So bring it on!
Happiness is a lifestyle choice. It is a skill. Something you can learn and practice. Just like anything else. Even if you live with chronic illness. And I can teach you how to do it.
I am so effing excited that you are here and hopefully we get to meet in person, or at least via zoom, sometimes soon!
